After serving in the Army for a couple of years Jessie returned home and shortly thereafter was hired by Boeing as an Electrical Engineering Aide.his employer for 37 years. Jessie was a dedicated Boeing employee and during his career gained many amazing friendships with his co-workers that have lasted for more than 30 years. Jessie played on both the Boeing softball team and league team that had tournaments every summer over in Lake Chelan. Jessie was an amazing athlete and a HUGE Husky fan (GO DAWGS) - always getting fans hyped up with his loud Husky bark. He loved taking his girls to Sonics and Mariners games and taking his family on vacations in the summer. He enjoyed dancing and singing to Motown Classics and doing countless projects around the house - he could fix anything. Jessie loved spending time with his grandbaby, and he took pride in teaching his daughters to be strong and independent and helping his neighbors and friends.
Jessie always loved to give people advice, even if they didn't want to hear it. He was an amazing husband, an incredible and devoted father and granddad, a loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a supportive friend.
Jessie leaves behind his wife Joy (49 years together); his daughters Jessica, Janelle and Justene; his son-in-law Marc Marcus; his grandbaby Ciana; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as cousins and godchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank James and Elise Griffin; his younger sister Theresa Perkins; his son Jordan Joseph and his baby girl. His amazing smile and infectious laugh will always be remembered in our hearts.
